Welcome!

Welcome to the blog of the LaLoosh Legacy All-Stars! And for the luvagawd, this is not a damn spam blog.

The LaLoosh Legacy All-Stars is the name of the finest fantasy baseball league hosted at the phenomenal Gameday Ritual website. If you're looking for something a bit meatier than your standard roto or head-to-head baseball league, be sure to check it out. From customizable stadiums to 1-9 batting order lineups to lefty-righty match-ups to full pitching rotations including a full bullpen complement (yes, even middle relievers have value), GDR is the fantasy site for you.

The LaLoosh Legacy All-Star league was founded is currently entering its third season. It is a 14-team league, comprised of two divisions, each carrying the classic names of the NHLs conferences (Wales and Campbell) and comprised of 7 teams each. Division winners and the two top runners-up make up the 4 team, 2 week playoff. The regular season is 24 weeks long, and just like MLB, 162 games are played throughout the season, with week-long match-ups generally broken up into 6- or 7-game series.

The LaLoosh league carries on the great tradition of sports in general, being named after one of the finest (fictional) minor league pitchers to ever take those long bus rides from city to city, Ebby Calvin "Nuke" LaLoosh.

Throughout the course of the year, we hope to bring you news and insight on and from the 14 fine owners of LaLoosh Legacy clubs. Input from those both within and outside the league is highly encouraged.

Thank you for reading, and taking a ride with the LaLoosh. May the 2008 season be your best ever!
